So impressed with the commitment Jennifer Westwood and Dylan Dunbar have, in their efforts to spark more midweek music events in Metro Detroit, at only the best of the best venues we offer. This latest was last week Wednesday, at the gorgeous Belle’s Lounge by Valentine Distilling in Ferndale, one of many hidden local treasures.
As I journey through the many milestones of midlife, this was an excellent reminder to never underestimate the power of making good art. I dare say there are days it’s hard for me to imagine anything more important.
