Three weeks into our 10 week rehearsal schedule for Flung. It feels like I haven’t had a day of good old fashioned self-care with the furry residents in ages.
That all changed today, when I realized I had nothing on the calendar.
Needless to say, Farkle is taking full advantage … and I love him for it.

Great post! I love how you highlighted the importance of self-care and taking a break from busy schedules. It’s amazing how our furry friends can remind us to slow down and enjoy the present moment. I was curious, how do you manage to balance rehearsal schedules and personal time with your pets?

Thanks Mr W! There are certainly weeks when I have less time with the two furballs than they would prefer. Having Saturdays as a no-rehearsal day helps, and we also have an evening routine of sitting together while I journal at the end of every day. If you ask Farkle, he’ll say that’s a good start but we have a long way to go.
