Where the Ruins Have No Name (Rome, Italy)

Have I told you lately, dear readers, how much I lack a sense of direction and a memory for names?

Here is another example. For the life of me I can’t find a similar view online to help me give this location a name. Part of me wants to call it the Roman Forum, but it looks nothing like the other images that come up in my Google search. Another part of me kind of enjoys that this exists as a location-less piece of photography in a city filled with iconic views.

Of course I will add a photo caption and give heaps of kudos to anyone who can help fill in the blanks where in the heck I stumbled on this one.

Shot on iPhone 8, black and white filter.
