Another shot from an amazing day at the park with my father and the teenagers. I did a little experimenting with perspectives and wound up with this photo — I see something new every time I look at it, which is fun. Shot on Google Pixel 3.
Check out the first photo in this series here.
This is beautiful! A Roger Zelazny trump card.
This is a master class on photographic texture – shape, tone, and depth.
I love the “rabbit hole” depth of the shot, and the texture is phenomenal. I feel like I should be able to reach out and touch all of the different textures in this shot. That’s a device that draws the viewer in, and puts them in the location of the shot. Fantastic work!

Oooooh, yes, the depth of field! I’m slowly getting used to these terms and how to do them on purpose. I’m still at a stage where stuff like this “just happens” after clicking a few settings, and some editing help from the Google photos app. Very happy it created this emotional response for you! It’s one of my favorites too.

Oak Creek? Sorry I missed the walk down to the waters edge. Darn allergies.
